Implementation of an adaptations refers to the construction/installation process of performing an adaptation, however there is a complex plethora of forms, service department and people who need to be involved in order to get it to this stage. The funding of adaptations is (as stated in the overview section) dictated by your tenure type. Meaning different routes/options for people depending on how the funding applications will be applied within each individual case. Things to consider

There are a few things to consider when implementing an adaptation. The largest considerations are towards what kind of adaptation is required, how that is being procured, what the installation process is like, how long will it take, will the customer be able to reside within the property for the duration of the build? If they need to decamp, where can they be placed with suitable accommodations.

Process

Assessment – Finding out more about you, your condition/situation, your home and what issues you have been experiencing

Design – The solution to your issues, what components have been chosen to best suit your needs

Construction – Contractor comes into your property and carries outs work/installs components

Handover – We go through the new adaptations with you and make sure you know how everything works and answer any questions you may have

Evaluation & follow up – Always follow up after a few weeks/months to check up on customer, are they using the adaptation or experiencing any issues?
