Blackwood provides a range of affordable, accessible, beautiful and connected homes to support people with a range of housing needs to live their lives to the full within their community. We have over 1,500 homes throughout Scotland and our new build development programme will see a further 400 homes built by 2027.

Care/Support

As a registered provider Blackwood provides care and support services to our customers in a residential setting at our three care homes, within their own homes within nine locations across Scotland and remotely via our 24/7 digital responder service. All of our care services are enhanced by our bespoke digital care system, Clevercogs, which enables us to build a personalised care package around the customer, taking in to account both formal and informal care needs.

At Blackwood we place our customers at the heart of our decision making and we view co-design and engagement as fundamental aspects of our business. From our award-winning tenant scrutiny panel Team Blackwood to our Digital Buddies volunteering programme, our customers’ lived experiences shape and drive the services that we deliver.

Co-designing with our customers, we develop and deliver a truly personalised homes and care service across Scotland. Building on a 50-year legacy, Blackwood promotes thought leadership within the housing and care sectors and continues to test the boundaries of design and technology to ensure our customers can live truly independently.
